Win a Free Copy of iPad: The Missing Manual

by Aaron Hockley on August 20, 2010

If you’re a modern photographer, I bet you have an iPad (or are making plans to purchase one).

One great iPad resource is the book iPad: The Missing Manual (read my full review). I have a brand-new copy of the book to give away. Here’s how to enter to win:

  • Leave a comment on those blog post telling me either your favorite use for your iPad (or what you’d use an iPad for if you had one)
  • Follow me (@ahockley) on Twitter.

That’s it. In one week (Next Friday), I’ll randomly select a commenter, verify that you’re following me on Twitter, and you could win! For this contest, the winner must be able to provide a US shipping address.

faddah here! not a photog, but love my iPad & would love the missing manual. what *don’t i use it for would be an easier question to answer — twitter & facebook & checking my fave blogs, reading reuters & ny times & listening to npr, watching the latest autotune-the-news youtube video, reading fave novels in iBooks, B&N Nook, Kindle or Stanza like, “a thousand splendid suns,” or public domain Sherlock Holems mysteries, read/learn code & do coding & Ftp up to my shared webhost server, watch Netflix movies, and yes, even share pics from my world travel trip. oh, andplay the very cool Need For Speed racing game. how’s all that?

I’m looking into getting an iPad as an investment management tool. Wondering if it runs Java apps…

When I get my Ipad (soon), I will use it to show off my photos to all my friends and co-workers (and anyone else interested).
