I’ve spent the last four days at Skip’s Summer School. It’s a small-ish conference (200-300 people) where I’m learning all sorts of tips from established pros. Most of the tips have nothing to do with lighting, composition, or gear, but rather with business, marketing, creativity, and vision.
I’m heading home today with all sorts of ideas about how to redefine and focus my photography business to connect with my ideal clients, provide them with more value, and increase my revenue.
I realized just how much I have to learn in some areas. Mentally I’m getting beat up… and it’s great. This is just what I needed.
This is also why the posts have been light around here for a few days. Going forward… well, who knows. Let’s see what happens.
